URYVA Terms of Use
Effective date: 1 October 2026
Last updated: 1 October 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Edutainment Corp., 131 Continental Dr Ste 305, Newark, DE 19713-4324, United States, which operates URYVA ("URYVA", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the URYVA website at https://uryva.com, the web app at https://app.uryva.com, any of our apps where available, and related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, to our Privacy Policy and to our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What URYVA is
URYVA is an external workspace for human thought. With URYVA you can:
- start from a question, an experience, a source or a half-formed thought, and shape it into a Folio, a visual, multi-slide knowledge story;
- work with Sorush, an AI guide;
- explore knowledge Galaxies and build your own;
- keep notes and voice recordings;
- see your Mindscape, a picture of your interests and way of thinking;
- follow people, comment, and send messages.
URYVA is free to use today. If we ever introduce paid features, we will show you their terms before you pay.
The Service is growing and changing. We may add, change or remove features. When a change significantly reduces what you can do, we will try to tell you in advance.
3. Who can use URYVA
To use URYVA you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- be able to form a binding contract;
- not be barred from using the Service under the law that applies to you;
- not have been banned by us before, unless we agree otherwise.
4. Your account
- You sign in with Google, LinkedIn, Apple or a code sent to your e-mail address. You must use your own accounts and a real e-mail address that you control.
- One person, one personal account. Do not share your account or sign in as someone else.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your e-mail and sign-in accounts secure. Tell us at once at support@uryva.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- Keep your profile accurate. Do not pretend to be another person or organization.
Profiles written by URYVA
Some profiles on URYVA are written by us, about people, organizations and places, before anyone connected to them has joined. If you are that person, or you represent that organization, you can ask to manage the profile under our profile-management rules.
Being approved does not make you the owner of the facts, the history, or everything published about the subject. Editorial content stays ours to maintain. Requests based on false information are refused, and we can pause or withdraw access we have granted.
5. Your content
5.1 You own what you create
You are the author. AI works as a guide, not the author: you decide what to keep, change and make your own. You keep all rights you have in the thoughts, prompts, Folios, notes, recordings, comments, messages and other content you create or upload ("Your Content").
5.2 The permission you give us
To run the Service, we need your permission to handle Your Content. You give URYVA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, adapt (for example resize, transcribe or format), translate and display Your Content. We may do so, and let our service providers do so on our behalf, only to operate, provide, secure and improve the Service. This includes:
- sending Your Content to our AI providers when you use AI features, as described in the Privacy Policy;
- showing public content to other users, including in a translated form.
This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, with these exceptions:
- content other people have already shared or copied within the Service;
- published Folios, which we archive rather than delete as explained in the Privacy Policy;
- copies we must keep to comply with the law.
5.3 Public and private
Folios are public unless you choose Private when you publish. Anyone with the link can open a public Folio. Your profile and your comments on public Folios are visible to other users. The Privacy Policy explains exactly who can see what.
5.4 Your responsibility
You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to share it. Before you post, make sure Your Content:
- does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- follows these Terms and the Community Guidelines;
- is lawful where you live.
5.5 Our content
The Service is protected by intellectual property laws. We and our licensors own:
- the URYVA name and logo;
- the design of the Service and its software;
- editorial profiles, system Galaxies, music and other content we provide.
You may use our content only through the Service and as the Service allows. Content from other users belongs to them.
6. AI features
- AI output can be wrong. It can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or biased, and it can look confident when it is wrong. Treat it as a starting point, not a definitive fact. Check anything important before you rely on it or publish it.
- Review before you publish. Folios can be made with AI. You are responsible for what you publish, so review it first. URYVA labels AI-generated and AI-assisted content; do not remove those labels or present made-up facts as true.
- Mindscape is not advice. Mindscape, and anything Sorush says, is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or career advice.
- Output may not be unique. Other users may receive similar output from the AI. To the extent we have any rights in the output generated for you, you may use it under these Terms.
- Your choice. Some features send your prompts and content to third-party AI providers. You can turn AI processing on or off in Settings. The Privacy Policy explains what the setting covers.
- Fair use of AI. Do not use the AI features to create content that breaks section 7. Do not try to get around safety limits, rate limits or usage budgets.
7. Acceptable use
URYVA is a place to learn and share knowledge. You agree to follow our Community Guidelines, which you also accept before you publish a Folio. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
Community Guidelines:
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate or threats.
- Be accurate. Share knowledge in good faith. Do not present made-up facts as true.
- Keep people safe. Do not publish content that is illegal, violent or exploits others.
- Respect rights. Only publish content you have the right to share. Respect privacy and copyright.
Do not use URYVA to post, send or do any of the following:
- harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone;
- publish hate speech, or content that promotes violence;
- post sexually explicit content, or post, make or share intimate images of anyone without their consent, including images made or altered with AI;
- spread false or harmful information presented as fact;
- send spam, or unwanted bulk or repetitive messages;
- pretend to be someone else, or claim to represent an organization that has not authorized you, including in a request to manage a profile;
- share someone's private information without permission;
- use someone else's work, name or picture without the right to do so;
- post content that is illegal or dangerous, or that exploits others;
- access another person's account, or collect other users' data without permission, including by scraping;
- interfere with the Service: overload it, probe or break its security, get around limits, introduce malware, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows;
- use automated means to create accounts or use the Service, except as we allow;
- use the Service or its output to build a competing product, or to train AI models, without our written permission;
- break any law.
8. Reports, blocking and enforcement
- Report. If you see something that breaks these Terms or the Community Guidelines, use Report on the profile, Folio or message. To report a comment or anything else, write to support@uryva.com. We review reports (Report and block).
- Block. You can block any user. They won't be able to see your profile or message you, and you won't see theirs.
- What we can do. We may:
- remove or hide content;
- give a warning;
- limit features;
- refuse, pause or withdraw a profile-management approval;
- suspend or ban an account.
We act when we reasonably believe content or behaviour breaks these Terms, the law, or puts people at risk. We may also act when the law requires it.
- Appeals. If we act on your content or account, or decide a report or request, you can tell us why you think we got it wrong: write to support@uryva.com and say which content, account or decision you mean. A person on our team will review your appeal.
- We are not obliged to monitor content, but we may review content to enforce these Terms or when it is reported.
9. Messaging
Messages are for real conversations between people. Do not use them for spam, harassment or unsolicited promotion. People with a private account may limit messages from people who don't follow them. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Our team may review a message when it is reported.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, such as Google, LinkedIn and Apple for sign-in, and AI providers for AI features. Your use of a sign-in provider is also governed by that provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, or for websites and content that URYVA links to.
11. Ending your use of URYVA
- You can stop using URYVA at any time and delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete Account, or at https://app.uryva.com/delete-account. Delete your URYVA account explains every way, and what is deleted and what stays.
- We may suspend or close your account, or stop providing all or part of the Service to you:
- if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms;
- if we must do so by law;
- if your use creates risk or legal exposure for others or for URYVA;
- if we stop offering the Service.
Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond or to download your data first.
- The following survive after your account ends:
- sections 5.2 (for archived Folios and legal copies), 5.5 and 6;
- sections 12 to 16;
- any other terms that by their nature should survive.
12. Disclaimers
We work to keep URYVA useful and available, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. We also make no promise that any content, including AI output and editorial content, is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of 100 euros or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or intent where the applicable law does not allow a limit.
14. Indemnity
If you use URYVA for business purposes, or where the law allows it, you agree to cover URYVA's reasonable costs and losses caused by claims from third parties about Your Content or your breach of these Terms.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by e-mail at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the change is needed sooner for legal or safety reasons. If you keep using URYVA after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law that applies to them, and disputes about them will be decided by the courts that have jurisdiction under that law.
If you are a consumer, you always keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us at support@uryva.com so we can try to resolve it.

- If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect.
- If we don't enforce a term right away, we have not given up our right to do so later.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours to a successor, for example in a merger or sale of assets, and your rights stay the same.
